OFF THE FIELD

WONDERLIC PREP:
During Combine training you’ll be given practice tests to alleviate test anxiety and build your confidence to give you the best shot at a great score. Plus, our sports psychologists will show you test-taking strategies and share insights into the test questions.

INTERVIEW TRAINING:
Throughout your draft process you’ll be put on the spot with questions. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, former NFL player, co-host for American Ninja Warrior, and sports analyst for the NFL Network, will drill you with mock interviews to prep you for the media that’s coming.

SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING:
You can damage your player evaluation based on your social media posts. These days, everyone is watching. Red flags hurt your draft stock. You’ll learn how to use social media to build your personal brand and how to avoid content that could tear it down.

FILM STUDY:
FREDDY KEIAHO – FILM STUDY (5 YEAR NFL VET; SUPER BOWL CHAMPION)
The goal is to build football IQ at each position. You’ll increase your understanding of the rules of the game and identify analysis trends. We will also review film from your college career to help maximize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses so that during the combine and Pro Day, you’re a mental assassin.

PHYSICAL THERAPY:
Kicking of the combine with a medical evaluation is critical. We often find that during your college years, you’ve had no time to adequately rehab injuries.You’ll work with coaches, chiropractors, orthopedic docs, even nutritionists, to come up
with a holistic plan. Recovery and regeneration sessions include hot tub, ice tub, pool time, chiropractic adjustment, massage and flexibility sessions, and post-workout supplementation.

NUTRITION:
ERIC HENSCH – NUTRITION (4 YEAR EXPERIENCE WITH PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES – NASM CERTIFIED)
Fuel the beast. You won’t believe how amazing your body will feel and how well it will perform when its operating under optimal nutrition. Sports nutritionists carefully plan out each meal whether you’re looking to lower body fat or increase muscle or both. Along with meal plans and determining daily calorie requirements, nutritionists will calculate how many grams of proteins, carbohydrates and fats you need to perform at beast mode.

PROGRAM

From the start, each one of our NFL Combine and Pro Day athletes will be treated like a professional. Athletes can expect to be put through the various physical and mental tests that come along with the responsibility of being a professional athlete. Todd Durkin and the Fitness Quest 10 team will teach and apply the most current techniques, methodologies and programming used to enhance performance specifically for the NFL Combine & Pro Day events.
In order to get our athletes functioning at their most elite level, our in-house physical therapy and chiropractic team will first assess them. All athletes get an SFMA Full Diagnostic Assessment when they begin their combine training to see any muscular imbalances or areas that we need additional corrective exercise to improve balance and performance. Together, we will address the specific needs of each athlete in order to assist recovery from previous injury and to aid each athlete in injury prevention.

PROGRAM DETAILS
• 4 weight room sessions each week, designed to improve the Bench Press, Broad Jump and Vertical Jump, where athletes will be exposed to our explosive, dynamic and high-energy training style.
• 3 combine specific speed and agility sessions per week, where field drills such as the 40- yard dash, pro-shuttle, 3-cone and position specific drills will be trained and assessed. All drills will be recorded to see progress and improvement.

FACILITIES

Secluded in beautiful San Diego, you’ll be able to focus — and up your game — in a peaceful yet performance-driven environment. Considered to house some of the best training and competition venues in the world, CVEATC is a massively impressive campus of one premiere training center after another. Athletes can expect professional grade field turf, plyometric training systems, the latest resistance and power training equipment, a myriad of pools of all sizes plus an indoor aquatic training center. The aquatic center is an advantageous resource in our recovery and regeneration programs, as well as plyometric training.

Athletes who choose to train with us for a week or longer will live on campus and be within minutes of all training venues. Meals are served in the dining hall which showcases pictorial panoramic lake views so you can feed the soul too. The menu is results-oriented and planned in advance by our executive chef and elite athlete nutritionists to meet your performance needs. Private catering, to-go meals and specialized menus are available as well.
